At Cam Everlands, children can choose to have a hot meal or bring a packed lunch from home.

Hot Meals

Our cooked meals are provided by Caterlink who cook them at a local primary school and transport them to our site. Meals are then kept at the correct temperature in a heated unit in our kitchen.

To order, children select an option from the menu at registration. We then phone through the orders for the day. If your child is going to arrive after registration, please let the office know if you want to order a hot meal by 9.30am at the latest. 

Hot meals cost £2.54 per day, unless your child is entitled to Free School Meals (FSM) or is in Key Stage 1 (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) whereby they qualify for Universal Infant Free School meals. 

There is usually 3 choices each day, one of which is a jacket potato.

Allergies

If your child has an allergy, Caterlink are happy to prepare meals which take the allergy into account. Should your child have an allergy, please fill in the form linked below. Please note that you need accompanying evidence from a medical professional to send with this form (Doctor, registered dietician, nurse or other qualified NHS medical professional).

Payment

Payment for meals must be made in advance through ParentPay. 

Packed Lunches

Should your child prefer to eat something prepared at home, they can bring in a packed lunch. We encourage this to be a healthy and balanced lunch as this reflects our desire to be a healthy school.

We do ask, however, that food isn't sent in in glass containers and that no fizzy drinks are included.
