Welcome

Welcome to the Cam Everlands Primary School website.

Our wonderful and vibrant school is situated on Birch Road close to the centre of Cam. The amazing children of our school are at the heart of everything we do and we aim to create an environment which is a nurturing, supportive and safe place for all children to flourish and thrive. We value all children as individuals and work tirelessly to ensure that they achieve well.

Our teaching philosophy is that we want our children to be actively engaged with their learning, for them to be thinking all of the time. We provide support and challenge where necessary and endeavour to instil within them a feeling of curiosity and love of learning. We use educational research to help ensure our pedagogies are effective and invest in our staff to both ensure they are constantly improving but also acting as learning role models themselves.

The Cam Everlands curriculum has been designed to engage our children and ignite a love of learning. We provide learning which is creative, challenging and fun. Alongside this, we offer a range of enrichment experiences such as forest school, trips and visitors to further immerse the children in their learning. Our teaching team - teachers and teaching assistants - are enthusiastic, kind, approachable and highly skilled.

Our place in the wider community is also something we recognise and value. Whilst we teach the child, we also like to build relationships with families as we know how important this is. We have an active and welcoming School Association who work hard to hold events which bring the community together and raise funds which improve the experiences of our children.

We aspire to give your child the best possible experience and hopefully our website will give you a flavour of that. However, to truly understand what a great school we are, a visit is essential. I would be delighted – and proud – to give you a tour so that you can meet our children, staff and explore our lovely site for yourselves.
