Year 3 and 4 perform the Bee Musical

Parents and families blown away by acting, dancing and cornets!

On Wednesday 9th of April, our Year 3 and 4 pupils put their bee costumes on to perform their play, "Bee Musical". Lots of family members waited patiently for the show to begin but the wait was well worth it!

Before the main play began, our Year 3 pupils went through the repertoire of songs which they had learnt in their 10-week ensemble teaching. This year, our Year 3 class had the unique responsibility of learning a brass instrument (almost all other classes have learnt stringed instruments) and they did the brass section proud, playing their cornets with great skill and enthusiasm.

After this introduction, the main play began. Like the cornet playing before, this was a true ensemble piece with all of the children working together to create an excellent production. All cast members from the narrators to the actors and chorus performed amazingly well to amuse and entertain the audience throughout the running time.

We are very proud of all of the children for showing lots of skill but also lots of courage and we know that the family members watching were thrilled to see it too.
