We began our learning by looking at and comparing a range of pieces of art that utilise warm and cool colours for effect discussing how the use of colour made us feel. We moved on to using watercolours to mix a range of warm and cool colours which we named ourselves before using pieces of art to pick out colours to mix. Finally, we used an item that was important to use to create a composition using warm colours for our item in the foreground and cool colours for our background.
